How to Produce the First Draft
Preliminaries
- Review and renew the paper research
- Determine the audience: reviewers are important of all
The big picture:
- Just creat the first draft.
- Editing at this stage is a waste of time.
The algorithm
- Start
- Outline Make the outline easy to do: your figures/tables in a logical sequence could be a fine outline
- Don't write introduction now
- Write the methods now
- Results and discussion now following figs/tabs
Correct the science and clarify the English
Then write the conclusion, and abstract and acknowledgements after that.

Reference:
Notes are encouraged when making the first draft about what reference is needed BUT don't stop to collect them at that time.
Some tips:
Always follow the requirements of the journal of interests.
